What is Digital Pakistan campaign?

IT department has launched a Digital Pakistan campaign & would be keen to involve them. PM said that their expertise in providing import substitution & advancement in technical automation operation launched in collaboration with students of NUST & GIK would be of great advantage.

The prime minister of Pakistan Imran khan assigns this project in august to the Ministry of Information Technology. The Ministry of Information Technology has a time of 3 months and the Ministry of Information Technology completes it in the time limit. The project was completed with the coordination of some Students of Universities.

In this project, all Government departments reduce the paperwork and document send each other through digital ways. And all other things that be can through digital and time be saved are worked under this umbrella.

The minister of Information Technology Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui is head of this project.

The federal minister had said that penetration of fiberization, broadband, mobile phones and smart phones will be enhanced across the country and added that PTI government is committed for promotion of information technology in the country.
